Six of the eight teams to advance to the regional finals are either No. 1 seeds or from the Pacific-12 Conference. Top-seeds Gonzaga, Baylor and Michigan each moved past their opponents, and USC, UCLA and Oregon State continued their magical runs.
Top overall seed Gonzaga disposed of No. 5 Creighton 83-65. The Zags put on an offensive clinic as they shot 60% for the game and converted on 76% of their 2-point attempts. Defensively, the Bulldogs limited the Bluejays to 5-of-23 from 3-point land (Creighton’s second-worst shooting game of the year).
Drew Timme led the way with 22 points and four assists, and Andrew Nembhard tallied 17 points and eight assists.
Gonzaga has now won 26 straight games by double figures, which is the longest streak in 60 years.
Meanwhile, Baylor topped No. 5 Villanova 62-51. The Bears overcame a seven-point halftime deficit as they forced 16 Wildcat turnovers, which is almost double their season average (8.8).
Michigan cruised to a 76-58 victory over No. 4 Florida State. The Wolverines dominated inside and outscored the Seminoles 50-28 in the paint. It marked the first time this season FSU was held below 60 points.
As for the Pac-12, six-seed USC defeated fellow conference member Oregon, a seven seed, 82-68. The Trojans led by 15 at halftime. They shot 57% from the floor for the game to clinch a spot in the Elite Eight for the first time in 20 years.

No. 11 UCLA pulled out a dramatic 88-78 overtime triumph over No. 2 Alabama. Alex Reese nailed a 35-footer as time expired in regulation to tie the game at 65. It was his only three points of the game. The Bruins controlled OT as they won the extra session 23-13. Six UCLA players scored in double figures.
No. 12 Oregon State continued its magical March with a 65-58 victory over eighth-seeded Loyola-Chicago. The Beavers held the Ramblers to 16 points in the first half. OSU reached its first regional final since 1982. The Pac-12 tournament champs have matched the 2002 Missouri Tigers as the lowest seed to advance to the Elite Eight.

The Cinderella run for No. 15 Oral Roberts came to an end at the hands of third-seeded Arkansas. The Razorbacks won 72-70 on Davonte Davis’ shot in the lane with 3.1 seconds left. That gave the nation’s leading scorer one final shot to keep the Golden Eagles season alive, but Max Abmas missed the potential game-winning 3-pointer. He finished with 25 points.
Second-seeded Houston defeated No. 11 Syracuse 62-46. The Cougars limited the Orange to 28% shooting.
Each of the Final Four berths are set to be secured Monday and Tuesday nights.
